ACCOUNTING AUDITS
UHY Moreira–Auditores performs work in the most diverse market sectors, following normativity issued by the Brazilian Securities Commission (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários) and the Central Bank of Brazil, among others. Some of our accounting auditing work includes:
• Audit of accounting statements (BRGAAP, USGAAP, IFRS). • Due Diligence. • Advice and supervision (ANATEL, ANEEL, resource sponsorship entities).
DIGITAL CERTIFICATION AUDIT
UHY Moreira–Auditores was the first audit firm to be authorized by the Brazilian Information Technology Institute to perform audit work on 2nd level Certifying Authority (CAC), Registration Authority (AR), Support Service Provider (PSS), pre-operational audit of ARs and other services.
AUDITORIA DE SISTEMAS INFORMATIZADOS DE CONTROLE ADUANEIRO
Auditing of computerized customs control systems were established for customs regimes and for beneficiaries of special customs regimes on 4 September 2006.
Through Declaratory Act number 4, of 30 April 2007, UHY Moreira became the first private firm accredited to perform technical assistance indicated in article 4 of the mentioned normativity.
We audit the following computerized control systems:

INTERNAL AUDIT
UHY Moreira-Auditores’ internal audit team’s objective is to provide managers, at all levels, with useful information to control operations and activities under their responsibility. Since one of their main functions is to be “management’s eyes within the company,” our audit team observes the company through managerial parameters and reports clearly and convincingly, to whom it may correspond, about the need for changes or for implementation of new standards that reinforce the structure of the organization or department.
